Governor General presents Caring Canadian Award to Donald Tedford

Donald Tedford was one of 48 Canadians to receive the Governor General’s Caring Canadian Awards from His Excellency the Right
Honourable David Johnston on Tuesday, April 15 at Rideau Hall in Ottawa.

The Caring Canadian award was created in 1995, and recognizes individuals who volunteer their time to help others and to build a smarter and more caring nation. The award also highlights the fine example set by these volunteers, whose compassion and engagement are so much a part of our Canadian character.
