Co-President's:
Mary Ruston and Morag Watt

This year we have co-president's - Mary Ruston and Morag Watt. Click the “read more” link to both of their messages.

This promises to be another active and exciting Rotary year in Grand Bend.

Mary RustonWelcome to a new year of Rotary! As we turn the page on another chapter, we are excited to embark on a journey filled with new opportunities, challenges, and the chance to make an even greater impact in our communities and beyond.

This year, let us strengthen our bonds of friendship with a welcoming and engaging environment, embrace our shared values of service above self by taking part with local and international projects and continue to work together to create positive change. I encourage our continued support of Rotary’s campaign to eradicate polio and join EREY(Every Rotarian Every Year) At the recent International Rotary Convention it was announced a new Peace Centre is opening in India. Let us promote Peace within ourselves, our community and throughout the world.

RI President Francesco  Arezzo asks us  “Unite for Good” which calls on our club members to be a force for unity by doing good in our communities in a world increasingly divided by politics, geography and ideology.

Each of us brings unique talents and perspectives that enrich our club and amplify our efforts to serve those in need.

I am excited to be working as Co President this 25/26 Rotary year to help create meaningful experiences and lasting memories.

Yours in Rotary

Mary Ruston

Welcome to a new Rotary year!

I am very excited to serve our membership in this new role as Co-President.  I look forward to supporting our leadership team as we navigate through the many exciting times ahead  Whether it be tackling new projects or continuing our established and cherished traditions, I know we are in great hands.  Our shared passion for service unites us for good, just as Rotary International President, Francesco Arezzo, has called upon us to do.

We each bring to Rotary a unique contribution.  Through fellowship and co-operation, we create an environment where each voice is heard, each skill is valued and each person is respected.  In this way, what we accomplish together is so much greater than what we could accomplish on our own.  At a time when many Clubs are facing declining membership, we are experiencing growth. This is a testament to the bonds of fun and fellowship so evident amongst us. Let’s continue to build a welcoming culture which embraces new energy and ideas.

In the words of Walt Disney, “If you can dream it, you can do it.”

Let’s dream big!

Your Co-President in Service,

Morag
